Breda, The Netherlands — Dutch folk band Laguz has released their new single Lunaria, now available on all major streaming platforms. It’s the third and final single leading up to their debut album, A View from Down Below, expected later this year.
Lunaria takes listeners on a gentle, melodic journey through a sun-soaked desert landscape, following the footsteps of a wandering figure in search of a distant, moonlike presence. The band’s thoughtful arrangement and steady build reflect their evolving sound — one shaped by time, collaboration, and a love of storytelling through music.
The single follows How Curious the Light Behaves and Treelore, continuing Laguz’s exploration of atmospheric, nature-inspired themes. In keeping with the project’s visual identity, the cover art for Lunaria stays true to the hand-crafted, organic style fans have come to recognize.
“This song builds up very nicely,” the band says. “It is the result of a slow-cooking process that started years ago. Over that time, the song has evolved together with us.”
Lunaria offers a final glimpse of what’s to come on A View from Down Below — a debut shaped by time, care, and a shared love for storytelling.
The track is available now on all major platforms and on Bandcamp.
