Laguz, a Dutch pagan folk band, is thrilled to announce the release of their debut album, 'A View from Down Below'. Transporting listeners to realms often forgotten, this album promises a delicate journey. Available digitally on all streaming services and Bancamp since April 26, 2024.

As introduced by the singles 'How Curious the Light Behaves', 'Treelore', and the recently unveiled 'Lunaria', Laguz's debut album presents a fusion of traditional and contemporary folk elements, from mostly celtic origins. With a variety of instruments, both old and new, they craft melodies that range from introspective ballads to lively dance tunes and meditative chants. 'A View' transports listeners back in time, offering a glimpse into the world as Europeans knew it 1500 years ago.

Reflecting on the album, the band shares, "We started recording ‘A View from Down Below’ during the first corona lockdowns. This period allowed us to let our songs grow naturally and organically. All tracks are distinct from one another, and we're excited to share it with the world."
